The article analyzes the geographical and material boundaries of the field of computer art between the 1960s and 1980s, based on the Computer Arts Society's PAGE Bulletin. The objective is to investigate the geographical understandings of the field present in the publication, articulated with the dimensions and limits existing on a global scale. A historical analysis is proposed that observes the ideas that articulated the contrasting geographical dimensions with qualitative data from the events reported in the Bulletin. Although the discourses of the period propagated an internationalist and utopian vision of technology, the research reveals a significant concentration of events and agents in countries of the Global North. The analysis articulates the concepts of coloniality and inequality in access to technologies, demonstrating how the field was structured in accordance with global dynamics of power and exclusion.
