Abstract

This paper examines the interactions between personalization algorithms, cultural mediation, and ethical implications related to data protection in the field of digital financial education in Mozambique. The aim is to understand how the use of mathematical information theory, in conjunction with algorithmic optimization, can help make communication practices more efficient and inclusive in Banco de Moçambique campaigns. The objective is to understand how the application of mathematical information theory, combined with algorithmic optimization, can contribute to more effective and inclusive communication practices in the context of Banco de Moçambique campaigns. A qualitative and quantitative methodology based on a case study was adopted, employing document analysis and a survey of 100 internet users. The findings suggest that informational personalization by algorithms, when guided by cultural references and supported by ethical regulation, can increase the engagement and effectiveness of financial literacy initiatives. The conclusion is that an emancipatory digital financial education requires harmony between technological innovation, appreciation of sociocultural diversity, and the protection of digital rights.
