Notes on kléos in the iliad and odyssey

Abstract

This essay was developed from the reflection that links Classical Literature: Homeric Poetry, which has os its theme: the representation of the kléos in the Iliad and Odyssey. As theoretical support we used three texts: "The relations between return and glory in the Odyssey" by Adriane da Silva Duarte, "The ambiguity of the kléos in the Odyssey" by Christian Werner, and "The beautiful death and the outraged corpse" by Jean-Pierre Vernant. Besides these, we researched and selected the article: "The identity of Ulysses" by Trajano Vieira.
