Abstract

The interview with the Director of the School of Law of Niterói, Dr. Luiz Carlos Rodrigues Júnior, discussed the first social postgraduate program of the OAB, Cognition, Jurisdiction, Mediation, and Arbitration, launched in 2024.2. The free course aimed to democratize legal education, serving not only Niterói but also neighboring municipalities, such as São Gonçalo. The first class had 45 defended theses. The initiative is part of ESA's strategy to promote continuous training and the use of alternative dispute resolution methods, strengthening local advocacy and contributing to the improvement of legal practice.

Doutorando em Educação e Saúde na Infância e na Adolescência pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (PPGESIA - UNIFESP). Mestre em Educação Científica e Tecnológica pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (PPGECT-UFSC). Especialista em Educação, Gêneros e Sexualidade pela Faculdade Iguaçu. Licenciatura de Pedagogia pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ- Maracanã). Licenciando em Matemática pela Universidade Estácio de Sá. Idealizador do Projeto Direitos Humanos e Educação (@direitoshumanos_educacao). Na pesquisa investiga principalmente os seguintes temas: História da Educação, Educação Matemática, Direitos Humanos e Diversidade de Gênero e Sexualidade.
