Abstract

This article seeks to discuss the prospects for the future on Earth, in view of the intervention that drastic climate changes have imposed on the continuity of the current model of society and the double character of problem and solution that technologies have with, having as a background the game Horzion Zero Down. As a hypothesis, we propose the existence of a humanist trap present in the perspectives that see in the digital the salvation for the problems, without failing to understand that these are also actors and possible allies in the political, ecological and technological problem that is imposed. Called the Anthropocene, this conflict over the ways of inhabiting the world in common has the apex of the discussion in the technological facet: on the one hand, they are the sources of the problem, the exploitation of resources and the multiplication of forms of misery; on the other hand, they are capable of works and deeds on a planetary scale, possible to resolve conflicts on a large scale, including social ones.
