With social transformation on a global scale, the use of light and its means of interaction propose new forms of technological intervention, which instigate new perspectives on the role of integrated science. Light plays a fundamental role in architecture, influencing not only the aesthetics of a space, but also people's well-being and quality of life. It is hoped that this article, based on a literature review, can contribute to reflection on the design of light. Light thus becomes the compass of time that marks nature, in harmony with spaces.
